Night Crawlers Part 10 Volcanic Parasites part 1

Coonir floated in mid air above the abyss; anger blazing in his eyes. Summer had suddenly disappeared along with all the Rock Beasts. Coonir could have saved Bluderz. But too his surprise, Bluderz didn’t need saving. Coonir was angry, exhausted, sad, and hungry for revenge. “Coonir?” Rivr called to his comrade. “Are you okay?” Coonir grinded his teeth fiercely. He darted to Rivr and stood about 4 inches away from his own face. “Oh, Am I okay? Yeah, I’m doing fine.” Coonir said sarcastically.  “No, I am not okay!” Coonir shouted. “Bluderz just died!” Then Darkna placed her hand on his mechanical shoulder and said ashamed. “Yes we all feel the same way Coonir. But we can’t erase the past.” Coonir whirled to face Darkna then seized her neck. Flamzo acted quick and knocked Darkna out of his grip then pinned him on the ground. “Don’t act like you’re the only person that cared Coonir.” Flamzo corrected. Coonir just eyed Flamzo with hating in his eyes. “I’m sorry Coonir but we have to move on. We’re are wasting time.” Shinello explained thoughtfully. “He’s right.” Icerano agreed with a sad smiled out of the corner of his mouth. Darkna got back on her feet and pulled Flamzo off of Coonir. Darkna held out her mechanical hand for Coonir to grab. Coonir just stared at her and got up him self. He stormed almost knocking Darkna and Flamzo of their footing. The rest followed Coonir slowly.

As they walked on, they had spotted a volcano up above and decided that it was time to head up toward. There was no way else to get past it. While walking Flamzo had warned them that the ground wasn’t very stable. Coonir didn’t listen of course.
A huge crack from below had broken the silence. They all stopped and listened to see if it was an actual crack. Silence. Since apparently it was nothing they journeyed on. Darkna was falling behind and was just about to brake into a run but the ground below her crack and shattered. “AHHHHH!” Darkna shouted as she fell threw. The others whirled around and sprinted to the gap with Flamzo in the lead. Flamzo was worried more than the rest of them put together then tripled. Flamzo gazed into the gap and only saw searing hot lava. Flamzo gulped hard and called. “Darkna?” “Wow! What a drop!” Darkna exclaimed surprised. All the others let out a sigh of relief. Darkna’s voice was the sweetest thing they had ever heard. “What happened?” Icerano asked down. “And where are you?” Darkna was waiting for one of Bluderz’s jokes like: ‘Oh I bet you are just going to be a pile of ashes when ever we get you out.’  But then she remembered he was dead. “I don’t know what happened. But what I’m guessing is that the ground shattered.”  “Obviously.” Coonir muttered as if he was annoyed. “And I landed on a strip of stone that has not been burned yet.” Darkna explained yelling up. “We’re coming down.” Flamzo called down already jumping to the strip of stone. The others did the same. The lava’s heat blistering and bathed them in waves. “Great job Genius. Now why the heck are we down in here?” Coonir asked with irritation in his voice.  “Well…” Flamzo stammered. He was unsure about what to say. He had got them down there for no reason what so ever! “We should at least look down here in case if the mask could be down here.” Darkna recommended. It sounded reasonable. “We’d better search fast. We might get burned before we find it. If it’s down here.” Rivr said staring down at the scorching lava.
To their left was a tunnel, which wasn’t lit at all. But they traveled down the tunnel anyway. Shinello lead them down the tunnel with a torch he had made with his fingers. They advanced down the tunnel with all ears open. Then Shinello stopped and told them. “Look at this guys.” He pointed at a carving in the wall. Darkna and Icerano walked up to the wall wondering what was written upon the wall. The words read: Beware all Draken Warriors, for you are warned and the parasites will attack you.  Icerano began to laugh quietly. “Stupid Monks. They think they can help us. They are just ruining the suprises.” Icerano laughed. 
Then all of a sudden the 2 Draken we hanging by a red web upside on the ceiling. The others looked to where the web was coming from. They followed the web and a high-pitched screech stopped their search. They looked up and saw tons of Lava Spiders! With fangs ready to snap there enemy in half. All the Warriors eyes widened and gulped hard.
