Preview of Thunder

Well, as every good author knows...a lot of people always want previews to novels before they come out...Or if you're like Dragonfly..you take a story everyone loves and bind it up and sell it online. It figured i would put a preview of my work on here...Actually it's really so my work doesn't sound like Twilight..cause it really is nothing like it...course you'll have to read and find out....LOL I'm working EXTRA hard lately to get it done for my publishing date of about middle of August. Making it a good time for the Christmas rush...lol It will make a good present for a few lucky people i know...I can even sign them...LOL I'm getting a little excited here...I'm letting like no one read the full copy...I have it password protected and everything...anyway...here's you little preview...

“I’m Cornelia…I prefer the nickname Cori though…I’m 15 and from Utah.” One of the girls giggled a little. I glared in her direction…she wasn’t even looking at me, she was looking at the table full of boys. Most of them were broad shouldered and muscular. One of them was the thin boy who lived across the street. Malory set her hand on mine.

“Hockey boys…” The one blonde, shaggy haired one turned to our table. I looked at him, his kind eyes returned contact, and he actually waved to me. The rest of his table oooed with accusing looked on their faces. Malory waved him over… I set my hand on the table, spread out so all my fingers could be seen. He had something about him that was insanely inviting. The light in his eyes…I really didn’t know.

“Hey figure skater…got a new girl on the team?” He looked to me and I simply smiled back.

“No,” He looked a little shocked; “I snowboard actually…” Malory gave me a look of approval, it seemed too fake to really believe.

“Well, Cade…you up for a little fun at my party tonight?” The boy’s smile faded when he looked back to what I guessed was his girlfriend. He flipped his blonde bangs out of his eyes.

“Mal…I think I’m a little---“ Malory put her hands in his and it seemed as if Cade was put into a trance.

“Yea, Malory…tons.” His voice sounded prerecorded…it worried me, Cade walked away, his smile gone and his eyes drained from any light they had before. Malory sat back down and her two clones laughed devilishly. The boys smiled. I was the only person not giving her props.

There it is! ... Oh and on the Trailer you saw C.K. Cameron...that's my pen name!
