She Wouldn’t Let Me Save Her
By Clarice 7/21/08
You were so beautiful
With eyes like golden orbs
Gray, tan and white splotches
All over your body.
I thought I could save you
From the fate that might befall you
Cuz you needed a home for you
And your soon to come babies.
I thought I could save you
By providing a home for you
But turns out you didn’t want to leave
Where you were now.
I thought I could save you
From the cold winter that could
Seal your fate, your death and I
Thought I could give you a good home.
But you didn’t want to leave
You couldn’t trust me yet
And you couldn’t realize that unless
You found another home, you would die.
You were so beautiful
With eyes like golden orbs
Gray, tan and white splotches
All over your body.
You seem like a strong cat
And hopefully a strong mother
I hope you make it in this world
And maybe someone else will save you…
